A- The termites that we currently have in Colorado sub-terranean termites. These termites develope are their colonies under ground below frost line in the moist soil.
Q-Do they die in the winter time?
A-No! Termites go 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They develope a very intricate system of tubes, and tunnels that shelter them from the ambient air. Termites keep their own (if you will) 'micro climate' in their dwellings.
